Overview

The vast Kathmandu Valley is a treasure house of the World Heritage, such as Patan, Bhaktapur, Changunarayan testifying the depth and the vicissitudes of history. A sounthwestern town, Lumbini, known as the birthplace of Buddha proudly shows you the archeological masterpeices such as Asoka’s stone pillars, Maya goddess made of stone etc.

Just 120 km away to the West from the capital, a vast plain and almost never-touched Chitwan lie along with the Indian border. Bengal tigers, rhinoceroses, deer, bears, leopards, wild boars, crocodiles, and more than 350 kinds of wild birds are just the symbol of its riches. Exploring in the jungles seated on elephants called Elephant Safari and canooing tour are also the very popular attractions getting you to know the true natures.

There are the trekking having a lakeside city, Pokhara, as their foothold. It is carried out from 2 nights (4 nights from Kathmandu) and alone traveler. The course trekking through Dhumpus as well and you will have a magnificent view of Machhapuchhure and Annapurna.

Just a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu, the Trishuli river is a great way to get a taste for white-water adventure, fit a rafting trip into your tight schedule or break up your long bus journey to Pokhara, Chitwan or back to Kathmandu. Trips from 1 to 4 days.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu
One arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet by our friendly representative and transfer to hotel. Afternoon, proceed for a city sightseeing of Kathmandu visiting the Boudhanath Stupa, where it stands with four pair of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. Later visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Return to hotel for dinner.

Day 2: White Water Rafting – Chitwan National Park.
After breakfast proceed to rafting point of Charaudi for about two and a half hours drive. Meet your rafting master and start rafting in the untamed rapids of Trishuli River. Experience the many exciting rapids such as ladies delight, monsoon rapids, surprise rapid, upset rapid and many others. At the end of the raft at Mugling, lunch at the riverbank and transfer to Chitwan National Park.

Day 3: Chitwan National Park.
Full day will be spent in the National park enjoying activies like canoeing along the Rapti River, watching birds flock along the river and small crocodiles are often found along the river bank while we float past. A ride on the elephant into the forest hopefully to see some wildlife like the one horn rhino, deer or even a Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy a campfire with cultural dance in the night.

Day 4: Chitwan National Park – Pokhara
This morning is free to either roam around the local villages or for jungle walk. For the bird lovers, you can arrange with the guide to go for bird watching. After lunch depart for Pokhara, the second largest town of Nepal. On arrival day is free to enjoy the beautiful scenery of snow clad mountains and clear lake. Try some outdoor activities like boating in the Phewa Lake, Shopping or you may go for an optional tour of cultural dance in the evening.

Day 5: Pokhara – Pumdi Bhumdi – Pokhara.
After an early breakfast, we will depart for a short trek to Pumdi Bhumdi. We will take a short drive of 7 km south of Pokhara to Khaire khola where you will trek to the top of Pumdi Bhumdi. Trekking on foot is the best way of knowing the people and places intimately. One need not be a mountaineer to trek in the hills of Nepal as network of tracks and trails marked with shaded rest places. After one and a half hour trek, you will reach the top of Pumde Bhumdi where the beautiful views of Himalayans peaks are in view with the Machapuchare or Fishtail Peak dominating the horizon like an ice capped pyramids a single soaring white spire.

Day 6: Pokhara – Kathmandu.
After breakfast, slowly make our way back to Kathmandu by land for about 06 hours journey passing the Trishuli River for the most beautiful scenery along the rou. On arrival Kathmandu free and easy.

Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Airport for onward destination
