Overview

The vast Kathmandu Valley is a treasure house of the World Heritage, such as Patan, Bhaktapur, Changunarayan testifying the depth and the vicissitudes of history. A sounthwestern town, Lumbini, known as the birthplace of Buddha proudly shows you the archeological masterpeices such as Asoka’s stone pillars, Maya goddess made of stone etc.

There are the trekking having a lakeside city, Pokhara, as their foothold. It is carried out from 2 nights (4 nights from Kathmandu) and alone traveler. The course trekking through Dhumpus as well and you will have a magnificent view of Machhapuchhure and Annapurna.

Nagarkot is the best place to view the Himalaya from the comfort of your hotel balcony. Just 32km from Kathmandu, the village is packed with hotels, stacked up on a ridge facing one of the broadest possible views of the Himalaya. Between October and March a trip to Nagarkot will nearly always be rewarded with a view, but be warned the mountains are notorious for disappearing behind cloudy skies on any given day (or hour). It can get very cold at Nagarkot, so bring warm clothing.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathamndu arrival
On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be met by our friendly local representatives and transfer to hotel.
PM: proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting the Kathmandu Durbar Square the old place square to Nepal’s medieval kings with its lovely medley of pagoda temples. The most fascinating temple of living goddess kumari, unlike other temples. Next we ascend up to monkey hill to visit one of the biggest colossal Stupa in the world with its four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal directions. From here, we can enjoy the magnificent view of the Kathmandu city.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara
After breakfast, departs for pokhara, six hours journey, the second largest town of Nepal and you will experience one of the most scenic drives, passing through villages, streams, paddy field, River etc…On arrival, a day is free to enjoy the beautiful scenery of snow cap mountains and clear lake. Day 03: Pokhara
After having an early breakfast, proceed for short hiking to World Peace Pagoda situated on hillock at the altitude of 1200M. It Is 2 hours uphill trek from Pokhara and the trekking trails also not very tough one, anyone can make it. From here you can enjoy magnificent view of Himalayan range. Noontime, proceed for half day tour of Pokhara valley. Visiting all the places of interest, Davi’s fall, Cave, Tibetan Refugee camp, museum and boating at Lake Phewa.

Day04: Pokhara – Kathamndu.
After breakfast proceed for the six hours journey back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathamndu hotel, rest of the time is free for your own leisure.

Day05: Kathamndu – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot
After breakfast proceed to Bhaktapur for half day city tour. Journey takes about 40 mins to reach this historical place, situated at an altitude of 1401m, Bhaktapur covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur or the city of Devotees still retains a medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated to myriad wonders of the Malla rulers continues to be reflected at the Durbar Square. Pottery and weaving are its traditional industries. Bhaktapur is famous for woodcarving and the Bhadgaolen topi or cap.
Afterwards, drive uphill to Nagarkot, yet another famous hill station of Nepal. Nagarkot is a famous hill resort of Nepal, at an elevation of 1400M above sea level and is hemmed in by forested hills which rise over 2700m high, making them excellent vantage points to view the Himalaya that tow behind them. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest can be seen from here. Late afternoon proceed for a short trek to see the spectacular sunset over the Himalayas.

Day 06: Nagarkot – Kathamndu
Morning, wake up early to catch a beautiful sunrise can also enjoy in seeing changing colors of the snow cap peaks during sunrise after sunrise return hotel for breakfast, after having breakfast set yourself for some hiking in this region visiting Tamang villages where you can mingle with the local people.

After Drive Back to Kathmandu .

Day 07: Kathmandu – Departure
Time to say good bye to this beautiful Himalayan country. Free till the time to transfer to airport for your flight to onward destinations.
